Large Platform Build and Testing Project
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) are soliciting bids to identify a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) / Encouraging Diversity Growth & Equity (EDGE) vendor who will build and configure new Web Sphere non-production and production environments which includes software currency for an application that is public facing. The software that will be upgraded will include IBM Web Sphere Application Server, IBM Web Sphere MQ for AIX and Windows, IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, IBM Tivoli Access Manager / Web seal, Adobe Life Cycle and IBM Web Sphere Portal. The hardware platform used to build the environments will be IBM P 750 with virtualization. The current application is on IBM physical hardware and the software support is reaching end of life. The selected MBE/EDGE vendor will work with ODJFS state DBA team to design and build out new Oracle 11g (RAC/Non-RAC) non-production and production environments to migrate applications from 9i/10g to 11g. The selected MBE/EDGE vendor will also work with state DBA team to come up with a design to migrate SQL server 2000, 2005 and 2008 non-production and production environments to SQL server 2012.
