Senior COBOL Programmer Analysts

Opportunity Description

The intent of this Request for Letterhead Bids (RLB) is to obtain four (4) Senior COBOL Programmer Analysts from one (1) MBE/EDGE vendor. MBE/EDGE vendor are to submit six (6) candidates for these four (4) posted positions. MBE/EDGE vendor proposals that submit less than six (6) candidates will not be considered. MBE/EDGE vendor proposals that submit more than six (6) candidates will not be considered. The selected MBE/EDGE vendor(s) will be responsible for the specific duties of IT professionals which include, but are not limited, to: A.) In concert with senior programmer analysts collect, analyze and present solutions to resolve OJI application errors and/or new development business requests. These features will be built on the Ohio Job Insurance (OJI) System; and B.) Design, develop and test algorithms using COBOL code, WAS workspace, and DB2 database. This would include building on the current application interfaces for the OJI system as well as conforming to the industry standard interfaces.
