ALERT October 6, 2011 - The original due date of Thursday, November 24, 2011 (Thanksgiving Day) has been revised to 3:00 P.M. Monday, November 28, 2011. The RFP has been revised to reflect the change. ALERT: TECHNICAL PROPOSAL AND SCORE SHEET WILL BE ADDED WITHIN A WEEK. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) releases this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified vendors capable of operating and managing the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline (referred to generally throughout this RFP as ‘the Hotline’), a toll-free customer service call center for Ohio Medicaid consumers and the general public who have questions about Ohio’s Medicaid program. ODJFS is seeking proposals from vendors who are experienced in Medicaid and/or private or commercial health care programs for purposes of the development, implementation, and management of a toll-free call center; premium collection services; for electronic data file transfers (both incoming and outgoing); and for educating managed care eligible consumers about, and enrolling them in, a managed health care plan.
