OOD Payment Processing Modernization Analysis Project
The Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities Agency (OOD) would like to modernize their current payment process. Currently, the authorizing and invoicing process is mostly manual, conducted through secure email or fax. Automating the agency’s case service management application -- Accessible Web-based Activity Reporting Environment (AWARE) -- and payment process by leveraging web-based enterprise services is the goal.
A project discovery and analysis phase will be conducted to determine cost and impacts of leveraging the State of Ohio’s enterprise services for: (1) payment workflow process improvements, (2) improved interface to OOD vendors, (3) exchange of sensitive information in the payment process.
