Children's Justice Act Task Force Research and Support
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) releases this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purpose of obtaining a vendor to provide research and support services to Ohio’s Children’s Justice Act Task Force (Task Force) as established under Section 107 (c) of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (P.L. 111-320). Under the provisions of the Children’s Justice Act program, the Task Force is to make recommendations in three (3) categories as related to the investigation and prosecution of child abuse and neglect: investigative, administrative and judicial handling of child abuse and neglect; support of experimental, model and demonstration programs for testing innovative approaches and techniques; and reform of State laws, ordinances, regulations, protocols, and procedures to provide comprehensive protection for children. The Task Force’s specific focus under these categories will be established July 1, 2018. The vendor will support the Task Force in making its recommendations in the areas of focus by carrying out the activities outlined in the RFP.
