Administrative Hearing Examiner Services
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is soliciting applications from attorneys admitted to the practice of law in Ohio (as required by ORC Section 119.09) for the purpose of selecting two qualified individuals to serve as Administrative Hearing Examiners. Attorneys responding to this Request for Applications (RFA) must have a current and valid license to practice law in Ohio, and must demonstrate both eight years’ experience as a licensed attorney and three years’ experience with administrative law. Further requirements, preferences, and instructions for submitting an application (also referred to as a proposal) are provided in this RFA. This RFA document is released by ODJFS, and the two subsequent contracts expected to result from this RFA process will be between each selected attorney and ODJFS. The ODJFS Office of Legal and Acquisition Services (OLAS) will administer the contracts, and will be responsible for state level supervision of all activities of the selected vendors.
