New Hire Reporting Center Services
In Ohio, all employers are required to report newly hired employees to a state directory, which is a key component of Ohio’s systematic efforts to collect child support owed by non-custodial parents. The vendor selected through this competitive process will be required to establish and operate the New Hire Reporting Center from a central Ohio location, and to monitor employer compliance with new hire reporting regulations. The vendor to be selected through this RFP process will be required to provide data entry and related administrative services to operate Ohio’s New Hire Reporting Center. That vendor must be capable of providing data entry services for approximately three million new hire reports annually, in accordance with ODJFS standards for speed and accuracy, and of providing customer service to more than 300,000 employers by using customer call center staff. As many as seven hundred (700) telephone calls and one hundred seventy-five (175) e-mails per month are received by Ohio’s current New Hire Reporting Center.
