Answer:   Q: Is there a central warehouse that can be used as the hub for the delivery & install? A: MARCS warehouse is in Columbus at 4200 Surface Rd. Q: Is there a loading dock at the warehouse for delivery of equipment? A: A sister agency has one and will normally assist us to receive them. MARCS will need to know delivery time to co-ordinate with them. Once Received the units would be stored in MARCS warehouse which does NOT have a dock so Pick-up will not have a dock or lift to utilize. Q: Are the units located on ground level of the towers? A: The units are in Shelters at the base of the Remote Unmanned Communication Tower. Q: Are there any obstructions from the entry door & UPS in the towers? A: There should be no obstructions. Q: Can we drive a van directly to the tower and park at the entry point? A: Most sites you can pull a van in the gate and right up next to the Shelter door. Q: Can the install occur during normal business hours? A: Yes, but a schedule must be provided so a 48hr notice can be sent out to the areas 1st responders. If local PD or FD has an event planned for the date & time we will notify you and ask for the schedule to be modified. Q: Are the existing units plug and play or hardwired? A: All are hardwired in. Q: If plugged, what receptacle is being used? A: Hardwired Please note that a requirement of this RFQ is to be on a State Term Schedule (STS). Non-STS requests will not be considered.
