Document #: DXLEC-20-01-001
Question: GENERAL - On Page 3, Section 2.2.3 Expected Project Duration "This project build must be completed by 04/30/2020" and on Page 4, Section 2.3 Project Schedule "Final site presentation and final report Prior to 04/30/2020." However, on Page 7, Section 3.2.2 Project and Contractor Requirements "A) The project must be completed by 04/30/2020 and staff training must be completed by 06/30/2020" QUESTION: Is this last date an error? A) If it is an error, what is the correct date? B) If this is not an error, what is the strategy behind having a training date between 4/30/2019 and 06/30/2019 and how does it fit after Final Project Summary? Examples: 1) Agency would like vendor to hold an additional training session after go-live for additional staff. 2) Agency would like to have all redesign and upgrades completed and delivered for UAT prior to 4/30/2019 but does not intend to go-live before 6/30/2019 to allow their staff to be trained and work on their content between 4/30/2019 and 6/30/2019.
Answer: Example 2 would be the closest expectation: the desired final date of having a completed website go live is 6/30/2020. However training of staff needs to occur and is necessary prior to the site going live before 6/30/2020 can be determined.
