Questions and Answers
State Tourism Website Re-platform
Document #: DXDEV-20-01-001
Question: "Section 3.1, Technical Requirements" indicate that there will be 3rd party content submission. Can you please share the source of these submissions?
Answer: There would an approved list of Tourism industry partners that would submit blog content to the site.
Question: We are interested in possibly bidding on this opportunity. First, on the "notice" on page 1, it states this RFP is only being released to IOP contractors pre-qualified as a result of RFP #0A1216 - which we were not. And further states only those pre-qualified contractors (specifically, Base 22, ICC and Deloitte Consulting) are eligible to submit responses and inquiries. Would it be possible to consider a submission from our company? We are a leading provider of technology & digital marketing services. Please let me know if we are excluded or can bid. Assuming we can submit a proposal and bid, we only build and maintain websites on our platform & Tier 1 hosting infrastructure. Would that be permitted, or are you only considering websites that are built on the InnovateOhio Platform Portal Builder/IBM Digital Experience tools?
Answer: Only the current pre-qualified Contractors may bid on this solicitation. The State is in the initial process of preparing an RFP to add more pre-qualified Contractors to the pool of Contractors. The new RFP solicitation will be listed on the Procurement website when it is released. All work must be done on the InnovateOhio Platform.
Question: Were an 17 year old Columbus-based digital firm and are very interested in responding to RFP DXDWV-20-01-001 (State Tourism Website Re-platform). We see that agencies must be pre-qualified to respond the RFP and there is a Pre-qualification RFP from 2017 also on the page. Do we need to respond to the RFP from 2017 before we are eligible to submit a proposal to the re-platform RFP?
Answer: Only the current pre-qualified Contractors may bid on this solicitation. The State is in the initial process of preparing an RFP to add more pre-qualified Contractors to the pool of Contractors. The new RFP solicitation will be listed on the Procurement website when it is released.
