Answer:   Assuming the question is about file format, mostly fixed-width, tab-delimited, or XML, but we have a few outliers. There is no protocol change being used in our ESB environment at this point.

Question:   6. Is there any sort of DevOps(CI?CD) in place for the existing setup for code promotion to higher environments

Answer:   No. Deployments are manual at this point. We would love to do DevOps.

Question:   5. Development and Testing landscape for ESB applications

Answer:   We currently have 2 workstations for local development on IID 7.5. We have various non-production environments for testing.

Question:   4. Enterprise service bus current # of mediation flows, stateful/stateless flows, # of synchronous/asynchronous flows, is it part of one portfolio. What is the current road map. current/future workloads details

Answer:   We have around 290 mediation flows. NO stateful or asynchronous mediation flows. All these modules are part of one portfolio. Current roadmap is to migrate these modules to the upgraded product. Workload for service calls.

Question:   3. Current topology, ancillary products such as caching, logging/analytics, session, load balancing, HADR and security aspects details

Answer:   We have clustered topology with 3 JVMís on each node. Load balancing is done thru the load balancer hardware and High availability is thru the horizontal scaling. Regarding security, the services are secured by WS-standards. No other ancillary products are being used.
