Answer:   The estimated amount for Summit County is $233,626.

Question:   Franklin County currently receives an annual TAG-Formula allocation. Is the funding made avialable through this RFI new and additional funding?

Answer:   The TAG-F funding available through this RFI is the same funding that Franklin County has received previously through county allocation. TAG-F funding is now also available to three additional counties that also receive a large number of refugees. Instead of allocating the funding directly to the counties, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services plans to enter into grant agreements with qualified providers in each county.

Question:   How does this grant differ from the RRSSP grant several organizatons already have with the state. The scope seems similar.

Answer:   The Targeted Assistance Formula grant (TAG-F) is formula allocation funding made available to states for assistance to counties with unusually large refugee populations, high refugee concentrations, and high use of public assistance and where specific needs exist for supplementation of currently available resources.
