Incarceration Cross Match Exchange
Document #: JFSR1617148077
Question: 1.) Please clarify "The UI application data will be housed within OJI." 2.) Please clarify "The vendor would provide all real-time interface transmission directly"
Answer: 1) Information from all Unemployment Insurance (U.I.) applications filed against the state of Ohio are stored in the Ohio Job Insurance (OJI) database. Periodically, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) with the help of the selected vendor will securely cross-match its data with public records from incarceration facilities throughout the nation in order for ODJFS to determine the applicants’ eligibility of U.I. benefits. 2.) In addition to the periodic cross-matches, the vendor will provide a real-time web-based portal where ODJFS staff can search the offender database for current and historical booking information.
